I had to pleasure to work with Simple Local.com, the newest player in the increasingly crowded local search advertising market. Local search allows individuals and small business to display relevant search engine ads to a targeted geographical location. For example, a local dry cleaner might offer a direct response offer via their ad, and have it only appear to possible clients in their immediate area.
After evaluating the market, I proposed branding Simple Local (which as originally ‘SimplyLocalListingZ.com’) to communicate a core message of ‘Simplicity’ and ‘Results’. To this we added ‘Aspiration’ and ‘Empowerment’, as Simple Local is providing these small businesses the tools to create their own success.
Visually, Simple Local has a much clean, clear presentation that cuts through the clutter of it’s competitors.
